  • Mugen Seiki is pleased to announce the new MTC-3 electric touring car kit. The MTC-3 is a further development of the highly successful MTC-2 and MTC-2R platform. The prototype was first used at the 2024 IFMAR World Championship, where both MTC-3s qualified for the A-Main Final: Ronald Volker finished fourth and Jacob Cruz finished tenth.
  • The MTC-3 features a completely new design. The only parts taken from the MTC-2R are the drive shafts, spool, diff, and drive belt. The MTC-3 features a 1.5 mm thick aluminum chassis that performs excellently on both asphalt and carpet. The top deck design is unique, and the short shock absorbers complete a beautiful new suspension package.

chassis
  • New 1.5mm aluminum chassis.
  • Used with standard screws only (no special screws required).
  • The new chassis offers a wider range of torsional stiffness settings to adapt to all track conditions.
  • The new chassis eliminates the option of a carbon chassis.
  • Lower center of gravity for improved cornering (0.5 mm or 0.7 mm).
  • The chassis design has less overhang to create more clearance and reduce the likelihood of the chassis touching the track surface.
suspension
  • New carbon forearm construction.
  • New damper and upper arm angle adjustability - no shims required, no shims to misplace.
  • Faster and easier setup settings.
engine mount
  • Redesigned aluminum engine mount.
  • New adjustable countershaft height.
  • Allows the main gear to be used in the lowest possible position.
  • Possibility of using 90-inch spur gears for a wide range of categories and track conditions (standard and modified).
  • Better weight distribution.
Upper deck
  • New carbon top decks with improved position of the top deck in the vehicle.
  • New top deck where the upper bulkheads can be completely removed.
  • Easy access to the differential without having to dismantle anything other than the rear top deck.
  • New bulkheads with compact design
shock absorbers
  • The new shock towers are screwed directly to the bulkheads - no additional parts are required (can be used in fixed or active position).
  • New short shock absorbers provide a lower center of gravity and improved geometry.
  • New selection of ultra-short dampers.
  • Lower weight of the damper package.
New body posts
  • Easier assembly of the body.
  • The front has two gaps to facilitate body preparation.
  • At the rear, three body mounting options are available (horizontal, vertical, and horizontal with an additional part for mounting in the wing strut of the body).
  • The rear has an adjustable travel stopper, which is included in the kit.
Other new features
  • New body support included in the MTC3 kit.
